Our name started with a format pun of all things, standing for Spatial Archive and Interchange Format.

In September, Safe and partner conterra hosted the first Peak of Data Integration in Bonn, Germany, setting a high bar for global data integration.

- Embrace your inner influencer and record a 1-5 minute video telling us what you love about using FME.
- Fill out your name, email, and company to complete your entry. Submit your video via the testimonial recording tool.

Frequently Asked Questions
Individuals over the age of majority within their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry are eligible. Contestants must not be organizations or groups. Residents in jurisdictions where such contests are prohibited or require a license, as well as employees of Safe Software and their household members, are not eligible.
The contest begins on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
No, entries are limited to one entry per person.
If you want, you can include other people in your video submission (with their permission) but you will be the sole contestant. If multiple people submit one video, only the first person named on the entry form will be considered the contestant.
All Videos become Safe’s property as soon as they are submitted. Contestants that submit a Video waive all intellectual property and moral rights to the Video. Safe has the unfettered right to use, create derivative works of, and distribute the Videos in any manner and for any commercial purpose including, but not limited to, creating marketing campaigns, social media posts, and customer testimonials on our website.
If you are not comfortable with having your submission be publicized or incorporated into Marketing materials, we recommend refraining from entering the contest.
Thirty videos will be selected based on criteria such as originality, the “wow” factor of your story, the depth, and creativity of your responses. From these 30, three contestants will win an FME swag package, and one will win the Grand Prize of a trip to Safe’s Peak of Data Integration conference in 2025.
Prizes include FME swag packages, and a Grand Prize consisting of a trip to Safe’s conference in 2025, including round-trip airline tickets, a 3-day conference pass, three nights’ accommodation, and a pre-paid Visa for additional meals and transportation.
Selected contestants will be notified by email no later than December 20th, 2023, and must respond within five business days of such notification to claim their prize.
In order to claim a prize, contestants must be willing and able to take a picture with their FME swag package for display at the Conference and use on Safe’s social media.
